Annalee Rose Grunert, 80, of Monee, IL, passed away on November 6th, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois.
Lee was born in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Ellsworth and Kathleen Framberg on September 17th, 1938. She married Richard Grunert in Oak Lawn and gave birth to daughter Julie Brandt in Blue Island during the late 1960’s. Lee retired from Mayor Brown and Platt where she was formerly a paralegal for more than twenty years. Lee was heavily involved in animal welfare rights, governmental politics, and her Christian faith.
Lee was a devoted mother to Julie Brandt, beloved grandmother to Michael and Chris Brandt, a loving aunt to Eric Framberg, Elaine Framberg, the late David Framberg, Deborah (Framberg) and Steve Murley. A great aunt to Joshua Framberg, Cory Framberg, Rachel Murley, Grace Murley, Brandon Murley, and Justin Murley, and fond cousin to Lynne Helm.
Lee is preceded in death by parents Ellsworth and Kathleen Framberg, brother Eric Framberg, and nephew David Framberg.
Lee is survived by daughter Julie Brandt; grandchildren Michael and Chris Brandt; nieces and nephews Eric Framberg, Elaine Framberg, and Deborah (Framberg) and Steve Murley; great nieces and nephews Joshua Framberg, Cory Framberg, Rachel Murley, Grace Murley, Brandon Murley, and Justin Murley; and cousin Lynne Helm.
Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. on November 14th, 2018 at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home. Burial will proceed at Peotone Cemetery.
