Arlene A. Cann, age 99, of Shorewood, formerly of Peotone, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at her residence.
She was born on February 9, 1920 in Peotone, the daughter of Thomas and Alice (Forsman) Cann. She was a World War II Marine Veteran. She worked for Bennett Industries in Peotone for many years and then worked for Allied Industries until she retired. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Peotone.
She is survived by her nephews, Timothy (Beth) Cann of Menifee, CA and James (Cindy) Cann of Pahrump, NV; their sons, Christopher Cann Asher of Pahrump, NV and Jason (Christina) Cann of Molalla, OR; their children, Skyeler and Caidyence; her niece, Kathleen (Mike) Watkins of Joliet; their daughter, Kari (Phil) Cipriani of Minooka; their children, Eliana, Enzo, and Luca; their daughter-in-law, Summer Watkins of Darien; and her son, Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Hattie Conrad Cann; her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Helen Cann; and a great-nephew, Joshua Watkins.
