Glenda Diane Clay, age 70, of Manhattan, passed away at home on Sunday, October 18, 2020.  Brian Eugene Clay, age 73, of Manhattan, passed away at home on Sunday, October 25, 2020.

Diane was born on April 1, 1950 in Huntsville, AL, the daughter of Charlie and Lula (Money) Campbell.  Brian was born on August 18, 1947 in Searcy, AR, the son of Rex and Audrey (Lura) Clay.  They were married on October 14, 1972.  Diane was a waitress for over 35 years.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, ceramics, attending garage sales, upholstery, painting, cooking, and camping.  Brian worked as a machinist for 50 years.  He was a US Army Veteran.  His interests included being a survivalist and training; he enjoyed camping, primitive camping, and gardening.  He was an avid outdoorsman and was a member of Live Free and gun powder club.  Brian and Diane both loved spending time with life-long friends, family and especially their grandchildren.  Brian and Diane were loved by many and genuinely gave of themselves in every aspect to their friends and family.

They are survived by their children, Shawn Dunker and Jason (Karrie) Clay; their grandchildren, Brittney, Shannon, Carson, Logan, Austin, and Aiden; Diane’s siblings, Louise (Campbell) George, Wayne Campbell, and Gary Campbell; Brian’s siblings, Kevin (Mary) Clay, Dennis (Connie) Caly, Janis (Ron) Erickson, and Darin (Sharon) Clay; and numerous nieces and nephews.  They were preceded in death by both sets of their parents and a son, Michael Dunker.

Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 3 from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with a funeral service being held at 8:00 p.m.

Due to the global health pandemic (COVID-19) the wearing of a face covering will be required to enter the funeral home and social distancing must be observed.  The funeral service will be live-streamed on the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home Facebook page.  Private interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
