Bruce W. Samborski

Bruce W. Samborski, age 64, of Monee, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at his home.

 He was born on May 25, 1960, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Henry J. and Adeline (Trybula) Samborski.

 Bruce was retired from UPS after over 40 years working as a driver. He was an avid action photographer for local sporting and community events including the Will County Fair. Following his retirement Bruce spent time raising cattle with his son, Travis. He was very passionate farming hay forage. Along with raising livestock, he was a true cowboy who enjoyed riding trails on his horse. He raised his sons around horses, and they enjoyed attending shows together. Ultimately, family was the most important thing in Bruce’s life and he always worked to be the best dad and papa possible.

 Bruce is survived by his 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Travis Samborski, Cody (Melissa) Samborski, and Austin (Jessica) Samborski; 4 grandchildren, Stetson, Stella, Raylynn, and Lane; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins including a special cousin, Jackie Rosinski.

 Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. with a funeral service being held at 5:00 p.m.

Interment will be private. Memorials may be directed to the wishes of the family.
