Calvin Earl Heflin, 75 of Peotone was born July 18, 1943 at home in Galatia, IL to Claude and Theresa (Curtis) Heflin. One of eleven siblings he is survived by two; Charles Heflin and Brenda Bartley; health, happiness and in loving memory. After a farming and car racing youth he migrated North with the opening of Ford Motor Company Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights to become a mechanic and carve out a life for his family. He retired after 40-years of service; uphill both ways without a sick day as told. He loved family, hard work, competitive sport, gardening, clever use of words and laughter; an inspiration in many ways to many people.
