Donald Sizemore

Donald Keith Sizemore age 85 of Park Forest, Illinois passed away January 31^st 2024. 

Don was born August 5^th 1938 to Isabell Boyer in Chicago, Illinois. He attended high school in Chicago, Illinois and served in the Air Force from 1957 to 1963.

Don worked as an off-set printer for most of his life while doing photography on the side until his retirement.   Always known to be either “putzing” around the house, building or fixing things in the garage, or fishing with his grandchildren.  And anyone who knew him, knew what a devoted and true Chicago Cubs fan he was!

He is survived by his beloved wife Jane Sizemore (Newton).  Loving father of Denise Murphy, Colleen Duffy, Amy (Clancy) Green, Sarah Berry and Laura (Ronald) Olson. Brother to Mel (Donna) Sizemore and Jean Haughians.  Cherished grandfather of Justine (Jeremy), Brittney (Brian), Ian (Addie), Ryan (Kim), Nicholas, Meghan (Alex), Emma, Luke, Carter, Cale and Oli; and loving great-grandfather to many.

Family and friends are invited to join us for a military burial ceremony on Friday February 9^th 2024 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 27034 S. Diagonal Rd. Elwood, IL 60421 from 1:00 – 1:30pm followed by a celebration of life at Flossmoor Brewery 1035 Sterling Ave. Flossmoor, IL. 60422 from 3:00-6:00pm.
