Eleanor Paeth

Eleanor M. Paeth, 90 of Peotone, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019. She was cared for by Citadel Care Center and Hospice of Kankakee County.

Eleanor was born January 20, 1929, in Chicago, the daughter of the late George and Mary Drexel. She dedicated her adult life to her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her ambient personality made her a family matriarch. She always had a listening ear and kind and encouraging words.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Garry Paeth of Michigan City, IN; Glenn (Christina) Paeth of Peotone; 12 grandchildren, Tyler Paeth, Kayla Paeth, Tanner Paeth, Kobey Paeth,

Marina Griffin, Maya Griffin, Malia Griffin, Mattea Griffin, Adam Romascan, all of Peotone; Justin (Rachel) Ward, Robert (Nicole) Ward, Amanda Ward of Michigan City, IN; numerous great-grandchildren; and Son in Law, Steve Romascan. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gail (Paeth) Romascan and her husband of 39 years, Orville C. Paeth.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Services will be private.
