Gerald Verble

Gerald W. Verble, age 67, of Peotone, formerly of Midlothian, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at his home.

He was born on December 3, 1950 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of the late Samuel and Rosetta (McCrite) Verble.  He formerly worked for Imperial Crane Services of Bridgeview and farmed as a hobby.  He was a United States Army Veteran.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kathy (Kuchta) Verble of Peotone; a son, Christopher (Brenda) Verble of Peotone; 2 step-daughters, Christina and Stephanie (Mike); and 6 grandchildren, Amber, Julia, Ben, Tyler, Mikey, and Dominik.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A memorial visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Saturday, July 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Military honors and memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m.
