Grace Mae Marotta

      Grace Mae Marotta, infant daughter of Jake and Jamie Marotta of Peotone, was welcomed into the arms of her mommy and daddy on December 31st, 2023, before the Lord called her home shortly thereafter. Grace was so deeply loved both inutero and during her short stay on earth. Grace made such a huge impact on everyone that heard her story. She will forever be loved and missed.

     Grace is survived by her parents, Jake and Jamie Marotta; her siblings, Annelise, Leah, and Benjamin; her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Aveda Marotta; her maternal grandparents, Jody and Kris Milan; her maternal great-grandparents, Nancy Dominik, Connie Olsen, and Greg Olsen; and her aunts and uncles, Jillian Roark, Kevin Milan, Zeke Marotta, and Skyler Marotta.  She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Betty “Bacca” Smagacz, Harold Smagacz, Loretta Miller and Roy Miller; her maternal great-grandparents, Ben “Papa” Dominik and Kathy Olsen; and her uncle, T.J. Marotta.

     A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Jackson Creek Fellowship Church, 25800 S. Center Rd., Monee, IL. from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a memorial service being held at 6:00 p.m. 

A graveside committal service will be held at Peotone Cemetery on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
