Harry R. Baker Jr.

     Harry R. Baker Jr., age 75, of Peotone, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. 

     He was born on January 3, 1948, in Greensburg, PA, the son of Harry R. Sr. and Myrtle (Elmer) Baker.  Harry married Ann Ingerson on January 6, 1969, in Indiana, PA.  He was a United States Marine Corp veteran and a member of the American Legion.

     He is survived by his wife, Ann Baker of Peotone, IL; his son and daughter-in-law, Harry R. Baker III and Christina De Los Santos-Baker of Pittsboro, IN; his daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Jack Hiland of Grant Park, IL; his grandchildren, Charlotte Baker, Alicia Hiland, Mitchell Hiland, Kevin Vasquez, and Christian Brooks; and his sisters, Dawn (Bob) Stiffey, Debbie Ward, and Cathy Garrison.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cindy Henson.

      Cremation rites have been accorded.  A memorial visitation will be held at Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. with a memorial service being held at 4:00 p.m., Pastor Kyle Timmons officiating.

Military honors and committal services will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on a later date.
