James Frost

James (Jack) S. Frost Jr., age 77, of Kankakee, IL passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Riverside Medical Center.

He was born on May 8, 1944 in Shelby, Mississippi, the son of James and Ida Joe (Stafford) Frost. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran, an avid golfer, and a lifelong Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed watching the Bears games with his son and spending time with his friends at Blue’s Cafe.

He is survived by the love of his life, Mary Frost of Mokena, IL, his son, Brian Frost of Kankakee, IL and his daughter, Wendy (Joe) Ricker of Madison, WI; and his grandchildren, Maxwell, Madison, Jenna, and Bridget.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter-in-law, Michelle Frost.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Committal services and military honors will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.  Sign the guestbook at www.feedehelrichcrossfh.com
