Janet E. Wehrmann

      Janet E. Wehrmann, age 65, of Peotone, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at her home.

      She was born on April 26, 1959, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Floyd and Shirley (Bruski) Rowley.

She married David L. Wehrmann on August 16, 1975, in Beecher, IL.  Janet formerly worked at various jobs over the years but ultimately her true dedication was to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

      Janet is survived by her husband, David L. Wehrmann of Peotone; her daughter and son-in-law, Jody and Robert Porter of Peotone; her son and daughter-in-law, David M. and Ashley Wehrmann of Peotone; her grandchildren, Taylor (Will Walker) Wehrmann, Austin Desiderio, Mason Desiderio, Van Wehrmann, and Nate Wehrmann; a great-grandchild, Cooper; her brother Michael (Diana) Rowley, her sisters, Gail Rowley, Pamela Haltek, and Nancy (the late Robert) Matthey.  She was preceded in death her parents, Floyd and Shirley Rowley and a sister, Colleen Rowley.

    A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home in Peotone, IL with a memorial service held at 4:00 p.m., Rev. Terry Krouskoupf officiating. Due to the ongoing road construction, Main Street will be closed to traffic.  The sidewalks in front of the funeral home will be open and access may be made through the front door.  Additional parking will be available in the parking lot of Christ Community Church, 103 W. Corning Ave., Peotone, IL.  Entrance then can be made through the back door of the funeral home.   Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
