Jeff Johnston

Jeff Johnston, age 58, of Oak Forest, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 15, 2021 at his home. He was born June 9, 1962 in West Point, NY.  Jeff was a graduate of Thornwood High School and worked for over 30 years for the State of Illinois Tourism Bureau.

Jeff is survived by his father and step-mother, Wayne (Linda) Johnston of Peotone; his siblings, Christy Goodwine, Rob Robinson, Nicole (Greg) Anderson, Justin Draper, and Derrick Draper; and his nieces, Danisha, Sienna, Olivia, and Julia.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Johnston.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Friday, February 26 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with a memorial service being held at 7:00 p.m., Derrick Draper officiating.  Due to the global health pandemic (COVID-19) the wearing of a face covering will be required to enter the funeral home and social distancing must be observed.  The memorial service will be live-streamed on the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home Facebook page.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jeff’s name may be directed to the donor’s choice.
