Jill Ann Holzaepfel

Jill Ann Holzaepfel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister, and friend. Jill was called home to our Lord and Savior on December 23rd, 2024, at age 66. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Linda Przybytek, and parents-in-law, Hugo and Ruth Holzaepfel.

Jill was born on October 23rd, 1958, in Blue Island, Illinois. Jill had two sisters, Dawn Hopper (Chris Hopper), and Amy Johnson (Bob Johnson). After graduating Thornridge High School in 1976, she went on to work for CNA Insurance & ITW Deltar. She met the love of her life, Frank Holzaepfel, and was wed to him on April 23rd, 1988. After some time she embarked on her most important role: full-time mom and homemaker. Jill raised 5 children whom were her pride and joy. She loved being active with her 10 grandchildren and her dogs. Jill leaves behind: Eric & Tiffany Kleinfelder (Cadence, Kendall); Brent & Shannon Kleinfelder (Lindy, Bruno); Amanda & Andrew Runchey (Ava, Audrey, Alice, Archer); Cara & Chris Doering (Landon, Reese); and Wade Holzaepfel.

Jill will always and forever be remembered for her strong faith, sense of humor, and caring heart. She loved to joke with her husband and spend quality time with him. She volunteered often and delivered for Meals on Wheels. She was an avid creator of handmade cards for all her loved ones for each and every holiday and occasion. She loved planning an annual family camping event called “Camp-A-Rama” with stunning themes and details. Her loved ones were blessed to spend much time crafting with her. Her ability to cook and bake was unparalleled. Jill loved her family and friends fiercely. She was easy to talk to and was a genuinely kind soul. As such, her sudden death leaves so many with heavy hearts. 

Visitation services for Jill will be held at Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home in Peotone, Illinois. A wake will be held Thursday, January 2nd from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm; funeral to follow at 6:00 pm.
