Joshua S. Krouskoupf

      Heaven has gained another angel.  Joshua S. Krouskoupf, age 26, of Palatine, IL, formerly of Cary, IL, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024.

      He was born on June 21, 1997, in Hoffman Estates, IL, son of Elisabeth Krouskoupf.  “Josh” worked various jobs while trying to do the best and be the best.   He graduated from Cary Grove High School.  Growing up he liked to tinker with things and take them apart following what he called “corrections”, not directions.  He was big on electronics.  He liked hiking and camping at Starved Rock.  Josh was an animal lover and most importantly he loved his family, and his family loved him!

      He is survived by his mother, Elisabeth Krouskoupf (Rob Hornbaker); sister, Brianna Specht (Charlie Rife); niece, Dixie Mae; brothers, Daniel Simonian, Robbie Hornbaker, Alex Hornbaker, and Dmitri Anders.  Also survived by his father, Randy (Heather) Specht; sister, Addison Specht; brother, RJ Specht; maternal and paternal grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

      Cremation rites have been accorded.   A memorial visitation will be held at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 311 W. Corning Ave., Peotone, IL. 60468 on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service being held at 2:00 p.m..  Memorials may be given to the family’s wishes.
