June Izral

June D. Izral, age 96, formerly of Green Garden, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Porter Place Care Center in Tinley Park, IL.

She was born on July 26, 1925 in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Donald and Emma (Tschohl) Green.  She married Robert J. Izral on October 16, 1954 in Melrose Park, IL.  He passed away in 1998.  June was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Peotone.  She enjoyed making crafts and was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson and great-grandsons.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert F. (Jeanne) Izral of Sterling, IL and William J. (Mary) Izral of Peotone; her grandson, Joseph W. (Emily) Izral of Mineral, IL; her great-grandchildren, Carter and Cade Izral; her sisters, Yvonne (the late Michael) Cosgrove of Downers Grove, IL and Shirley (the late Art) Willey of Lombard, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert J. Izral; and her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Green.

Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Peotone on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., Father Roger Kutzner officiating.  Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.  Memorials may be directed to the wishes of the family.   Sign the guestbook at www.feddehelfrichcrossfh.com
