Nadler on June 3, 1951, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Richton Park, IL.  He passed away on January 27, 1998.  Lorraine worked for the Bensenville Home Society in Peotone in housekeeping for over 20 years.  When that facility was closed, she then went to work for over 20 years in the cafeteria at multiple locations for the Peotone 207U School District, retiring at the age of 86.  She was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Peotone for over 60 years.  She loved camping, gardening, playing bingo, watching the Game Show Network and Wheel of Fortune, and especially spending time with her family.  She loved traveling to Fremont, WI to the family cottage and fishing.  She was able to make one last road trip in June this year driving to Mt. Dora, FL with her daughter, Shelby.

She is survived by her children, Colleen (Steve) Stephens, Corrine (Dwain) Tataryn, Doreen (Jim) Cathers, Douglas Nadler, and Shelby (Craig) McConkey; her grandchildren, Danielle Lamm, Christopher Stephens, Derek Stephens, Renee McBride, Brande Redfield, Jennifer (Darcho) Dimitrov, Justin (Jennifer) McConkey, Kevin (Court Harris) McConkey, Trent (Julia) McConkey, Kim Ruth, and Matthew Nadler;  her great-grandchildren, Caitlin McBride, Danny Ruth, Avery and Ethan McConkey, Avianna and Aiden Dimitrov, and Thea and Rett McConkey; a special friend, Larry Loitz, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was also a special Kitty Grandma to Dylan and Caitlin McConkey.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emery; her daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Bill Fultz; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Luella (Chris) Gebert and Leona (Lester) Siefker; and her brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence (Marilyn) Stuenkel.  The family extends a special thank you to Lori Williams and her staff at Riverside Medical in Manteno who treated Lorraine like family and to Nancy Wheeler for her continued support.

Visitation will be held at Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. with funeral services being held at 12:00 p.m., Rev.
