Louise A. (Wolf) Lehnert, age 97, of Evergreen Park, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park.
Louise was born on September 10, 1919 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Carl and Louise (Conrad) Wolf. She married the late Lester M. Lehnert on August 16, 1942. He died on October 18, 2006.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry (Ellen) Lehnert of Wheaton; three grandchildren, David Lehnert of Wheaton, Melody (Rick) Gebhard of Cottonwood, CA, and Edward (Sandy) Lehnert of Morgan Hill, CA; four great-grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua, Brittany, and Ricky; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; her son, Lester Allen Lehnert (1983); two brothers, George and Carl; and four sisters, Teresa, Bess, Marion, and Charlene.
Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Saturday, December 10 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Saturday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Richard Young officiating. Burial will be at Peotone Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Peotone American Legion Post 392, 109 E. North St. Peotone, IL, would be appreciated.
