Mabel Feigel

Mabel L. Feigel, age 93, of Peotone, passed away at her home on Friday, June 3, 2016. She was born on January 2, 1923 in Peotone, IL, the daughter of the late Arthur and Martha (Poppenhagen) Juerres. She married the late Elmer H. Feigel on September 29, 1946 in Peotone. He passed away on March 25, 1994. She was a homemaker and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Frankfort, IL.

She is survived by her children, Susan (Ronald) Schubbe of Peotone, Linda (Thomas) Chellson of Manteno, and Richard (Becky) Feigel; her grandchildren, Brian (Sheri) Schubbe, Brenda Schubbe, Rena (Jeremy Kline) Chellson, Amber (Ben) Kenis, and Robert Feigel; and her great-grandchildren, Kristen, Luke and John Schubbe, and Devree and Daysen Kline. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Martha (Poppenhagen) Juerres; a sister, Ruth (Fred) Depperman, a brother, Orville (Dorothy) Juerres; a grandson, Eric Chellson; a brother-in-law, Edwin (Virginia) Feigel; and two sisters-in-law, Sylvia (Melvin) Knieriem and Edna Feigel.

Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home in Peotone on Sunday, June 5 from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Monday, June 6 at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Kevin Hahn officiating. Burial will be at Skyline Memorial Park in Monee, IL. Memorials to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Frankfort would be appreciated.
