Robert Fabian

Robert Anton Fabian, age 92, of Mountain Home, AR, formerly of Peotone, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 in Mountain Home, AR.

He was born on August 25, 1928 in Girard, KS, the son of Anton and Helen (Russian) Fabian.  Robert served in the United Sates Navy from August, 1945 to December, 1949 and then was called back to service for one year during the Korean War.  He then served for 32 years in the Civil Air Patrol.

He is survived by his wife, Janet (Ditzig) Fabian of Mountain Home, AR; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert Alan and Cindy Fabian of Peotone; step-son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Cindy Bittner of Peotone, step-daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Dave Santefort of New Lenox; his grandchildren, Carrie, Taryn, David, Brooke, Carly and Andrew; and several great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, William Anton Fabian.

Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Thursday, June 24 from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  Military honors and committal services will take place at Peotone Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. following the visitation.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice House of Mountain Home, Arkansas would be appreciated
