Theodore Raymond Sommerfeld

   Theodore Raymond Sommerfeld, age 78, of Peotone, formerly of the Mount Greenwood neighborhood in Chicago, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beecher, IL.

   He was born on November 13, 1945, in Chicago, IL, the son of Theodore and Catherine (Beahler) Sommerfeld. He worked as a landscaper his entire life. In his downtime he enjoyed spending time with his family.

   He is survived by his children; David (Carrie) Sommerfeld of Peotone, Julie (Joe) Beezhold of Homer Glen, Jason (Christina) Sommerfeld of Manhattan, Elise (Dave) Daly of Monee, and Adam Sommerfeld of Marengo; and his grandchildren, Logan, Tyler, Michael, Chase, Blake, Raelyn, and Lennox.

   He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Renee Sommerfeld, 2 brothers, Robert Sommerfeld and Lynwood Sommerfeld; and a sister, Dorothy Sommerfeld.
