Thomas Moynahan

Thomas W. Moynahan, age 62, of Grant Park, IL, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beecher, IL.

He was born on December 2, 1957 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Clemens “Bud” and Geraldine (Carroll) Moynahan.  He married Deborah K. (Vance) Moynahan on August 1, 1987 in Peotone.  She preceded him in death on November 4, 2019.  Thomas was a retired sprinkler fitter, Local 281.  He loved all things to do with farming, racing, and fishing.  He loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children; Deanna Buckley of Elwood, IL, Megan (John) Froehner of Manteno, IL, and Patrick Moynahan of Grant Park, IL; his grandchildren, Rilee and Deacon Buckley and Payton and Addison Froehner; a sister, Mary Moynahan of Oak Lawn, IL; and a brother, Kevin Moynahan of Crestwood, IL.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.  The wearing of a face covering and social distancing awareness will be mandatory to attend the memorial visitation.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorials to the family’s wishes would be appreciated.
