Tyler “Taz” Zillmer, age 14, of Bourbonnais, IL, died Friday, March 1, 2013 at his home. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 5 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials to the family’s wishes would be appreciated.
Tyler was born on April 25, 1998, in Kankakee. He is survived by his parents, Scott and Nancy (Conrad) Zillmer of Bourbonnais; a sister, Tracy (Greg) Bretveld of Bradley; 2 brothers, Trevor and Travis Zillmer of Bourbonnais; his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Conrad of Kankakee; his paternal grandmother, Ida Zillmer of Gilbert, AZ; 1 nephew and 2 nieces; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Chester Conrad and his paternal grandfather, Paul Zillmer. Tyler enjoyed NASCAR and music.
