Virginia Rusnak

Virginia T. Rusnak, age 86, of Peotone, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Presence Our Lady of Victory in Bourbonnais.

She was born on August 22, 1931 in Chicago, the daughter of Peter and Helen (nee Grant) Hatzer.  She worked as an underwriter for CNA Insurance in Chicago retiring after 25 years.  She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy (Randy) Harris of Apache Junction, AZ and Sandy (Tim) Evans of Peotone; 3 grandchildren, Joe (Allison) Komjathy and Cole and McKenna Evans; and a great-granddaughter, Madison Komjathy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters, Mary Liebler, Dorothy Hopkins, and Elizabeth Lindley.

Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Friday, April 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Friday, April 6 at 7:00 p.m., Deacon Jim Kelly officiating.  Cremation rites will be accorded following services.  Memorials to Alzheimer Disease research would be appreciated.
